Brisbane Pilates Open Studio Trial
We are trialling limited Open Studio access for experienced Brisbane Pilates members. This access will be availble for our direct debit membership members.
Open Studio allows approved members to access the Reformer studio during selected non-class times for self-guided training.
Please note:
Open Studio is not an instructor-led session. Members are responsible for their own training, safety, and exercise selection at all times.
Participation in Open Studio is subject to approval and agreement to all Brisbane Pilates rules and conditions.
Open Studio Rules & Conditions
Bookings
All Open Studio sessions must be booked through the Brisbane Pilates app.
Access is only permitted during your booked session time.
Open Studio access is limited and subject to availability.
Eligibility
To participate in Open Studio, members must:
Hold an active Brisbane Pilates membership
Have completed a minimum number of instructor-led classes
Be familiar with Reformer Pilates equipment and studio safety
Agree to all Open Studio conditions and waiver requirements
Brisbane Pilates reserves the right to approve or deny access at its discretion.
Access to Facility
During Facility Opening Hours
Members may access Open Studio normally during standard facility operating hours.
After-Hours Access
Current facility opening hours are:
Monday–Friday: 7am–7pm
If accessing the studio outside these hours, members will require an after-hours access key/tag.
Access keys/tags are available for $10

Access keys/tags remain the property of Brisbane Pilates and must be returned upon request
Studio Use
Open Studio is for self-guided training only
No guests are permitted
Members must not coach, instruct, or teach other participants
Members must respect the studio, equipment, and surrounding facility at all times
Restricted Exercises
The following activities are not permitted during Open Studio sessions:
Advanced balance exercises
Standing exercises performed off the footbar
High-risk movements without instructor supervision
Any movement deemed unsafe by Brisbane Pilates
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Front splits with foot positioned on the footbar
Standing balance lunges
Unsupported standing carriage work i.e. no springs
Brisbane Pilates reserves the right to determine what constitutes unsafe exercise or behaviour.
Equipment & Safety
Members participate at their own risk
Members must keep a charged mobile phone accessible at all times for emergency purposes
Any damaged or faulty equipment must be reported immediately to:

OR clearly written for staff to ensure equipment is not usedEquipment must be cleaned and reset after use
Grip socks and appropriate workout clothing must be worn at all times
Members must follow all hygiene and cleaning procedures
Cameras & Security
Security cameras operate at the studio entrance and within the studio at all times
Cameras must never be touched, adjusted, covered, unplugged, or turned off
Lighting & Air Conditioning
Studio lighting must remain as set and must not be adjusted
If air conditioning is used, it must be turned off before leaving
Products & Retail
Members must not access, remove, borrow, or use:
Retail products
Staff belongings
Studio stock or supplies not intended for member use
Access Removal
Brisbane Pilates reserves the right to immediately suspend or remove Open Studio access if:
Rules are not followed
Unsafe behaviour occurs
Equipment is misused
Access privileges are abused
The studio or facility is left unsecured
Members behave in a manner deemed inappropriate by Brisbane Pilates
